In Virginia, the penalty for reckless driving is up to 12 months in jail, and/or up to $2,500 in fines. AND carries a possible 6 month license suspension.

Our local Judges are well aware that excess speed causes serious injury and death on the highways of the Commonwealth.  With that in mind, they have a tendency to punish drivers convicted of excessive speed reckless driving.

 

 What can you do to protect yourself?
